to enable the lab to build on its world-class research program.
2006
Madame Alain Chr�tien and internationally acclaimed concert pianist
Jon Kimura Parker honorary co-chair of
the Friends of the Piano Pedagogy Research Laboratory.
Routledge accepts to publish Piano
Pedagogy: A Research and Information Guide, a compilation of
annotated bibliographical entries from diverse sources in the field of piano
pedagogy. This will be the first bibliographical reference book of its kind
within the discipline.
In its first year of operation, over 350 guests visit the research
facility.

Official Opening
of the Piano Pedagogy Research Laboratory.
2004
The Undergraduate Certificate in
Piano Pedagogy is approved by the University Senate.
2003
The Graduate
Certificate in Piano Pedagogy Research is approved by the University
Senate.
Ontario Innovation Trust (OIT) matches
the grant from Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for the creation of the
Piano Pedagogy Research Laboratory.
2002
Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) announces its grant for the
creation of the Piano Pedagogy Research Laboratory.
